Restore Shoots from your previous version of Skeet Manager

The new NSSA Skeet Manager is installed in a NEW specific and separate directory from the previous Skeet Manager.

C:\NSSASkeetMgr

Your previous Skeet Manager installation should be in place and untouched if installed on the same computer.

To load a last year or before shoot into the new "NSSA Skeet Manager", from the "Previous Install Data Directory" of your PREVIOUS Skeet Manager Installation, you can use the "Restore a Shoot from a Backup" utility and point to a shoot directory in the Data Directory of your other Previous Skeet Manager installation.

On your Previously Installed Skeet Manager (By Mike Valerio) you should use the "Load Another Shoot" under file utilities and not use this option.

Those Shoot Directories in the "Last Install Data" directory are backups that Skeet Manager makes local when you "Load Another Shoot".

To Restore a previous shoot from the previous version of Skeet Manager into NSSA Skeet Manager. Open File Utilities in NSSA Skeet Manager. Click the “Restore a Shoot from a Backup” button the left column.

Browse to the DATA directory where your previous version of Skeet Manager was installed. In this example mine is installed in:

C:\SKEETMANV10\SKEETMANSGCV10\DATA\

Yours will be different.

Some example Data directories to look for are:

C:\Skeet Manager\Data

C:\SkeetManager_9\Data

Once you find that Directory Skip to: CONTINUE

If you are still having trouble finding your "Previous Install Data Directory" you can use Windows Search.

Open a Windows File explorer by clicking on the Icon in your taskbar :  Windows File Explorer

Select the "C:" disk in the left Column under "This PC"

Type or copy and paste this text in the search box as shown below "foldername:Data license.txt" this should list all the "Data" directories on your "C:" drive that contain the file "license.txt" as shown below.

Determine your previous installation "Data" directory and  browse to the correct shoot directory below that Data directory.

Windows Search Data license.txt
